Our Founder
Daily Amar Desh" is a prominent Bengali-language daily newspaper in Bangladesh, established in 2004. It offers comprehensive coverage of national and international news, politics, business, sports, and entertainment. The newspaper is owned by Amar Desh Publications Limited, with Mahmudur Rahman serving as its editor
Company History
Throughout its history, "Amar Desh" has been recognized for its critical stance on government policies and its commitment to investigative journalism. The newspaper has faced challenges, including temporary closures and censorship, particularly during the tenure of the Awami League government. Notably, it was shut down in 2010 and again in 2013, coinciding with the arrests of its editor, Mahmudur Rahman.

Amar Desh" has continued to serve as a significant voice in Bangladesh's media landscape, advocating for press freedom and the rights of the people. The newspaper resumed publication on December 22, 2024, marking a new chapter in its history.
